Recently, our interns had the chance to learn this art from the best in the field: Dr. Aishatu Adamu and Dr. Aminu Abba Yusuf. This session focused on essential elements such as creating the right environment, building rapport, and meticulously documenting biodata, all while emphasizing good bedside manner.

Creating the right environment is fundamental to effective patient interaction. It involves establishing a comfortable, confidential space where patients feel heard and respected. This environment fosters trust and encourages patients to share personal and medical details openly, which is crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Building rapport goes hand-in-hand with creating the right environment.
