Tuesday’s International Leadership & Business Internship was not just about classroom learning and business development—it was also an opportunity for cultural immersion and diplomatic engagement. They ventured to the Chad and Mali embassies. 

At the Embassy of Chad, interns were warmly greeted by diplomatic representatives who generously shared insights into Chad’s cultural heritage and diplomatic priorities. They explored artifacts that spoke volumes about Chad’s history and traditions. Discussions with diplomats highlighted Chad’s role in international affairs, shedding light on the nation’s diplomatic strategies and their impact on global business and cooperation. 

At the Embassy of Mali, the interns were immersed in the vibrant culture where they engaged in discussions with diplomats who eloquently conveyed Mali’s cultural diversity and economic aspirations. Viewing ancient artifacts and artworks provided a glimpse into Mali’s rich history and heritage. Insights gained from these interactions deepened interns’ understanding of Mali’s strategic importance of its region and its diplomatic engagements on the global level.

These embassy visits and city explorations were integral parts of the interns’ journey, offering insights into global diplomacy and cultural understanding that complemented their academic and professional development.
