Exploring Business Development Outside of the Classroom

Throughout the first day of the International Leadership & Business Internship, the interns continued their day by visiting the embassies of Guyana and Egypt. The interns engaged with ambassadors and immersed themselves in ancient artifacts, deepening their cultural understanding and global perspective.

At the embassy of Guyana, our interns had the privilege of engaging directly with the ambassador to ask questions about business development and international investments. This immersive experience not only broadened their cultural horizons but also provided insights into diplomatic practices and global perspectives.

Next, at the embassy of Egypt, our interns continued their journey of cultural exploration, delving into Egypt’s storied past through artifacts and conversations with diplomats. This encounter highlighted the intersection of history, diplomacy, and business, offering invaluable context for their future endeavors in the global arena.

These embassy visits were pivotal in broadening our interns’ cultural awareness and gathering a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of global economies and societies. As they reflect on these experiences, our interns carry with them a newfound understanding that will shape their paths as future leaders in the world of business and beyond.
